How do I book a session?

All bookings and payments are handled securely through Halaxy. Just click the 'Book Here' button on any page, choose your appointment type, and a time that suits you. Your payment details are added securely through Halaxy but will not be charged until the day of your appointment. You're ready to go.

Do I need a referral?

No Referral required. You can simply click on a 'Book Now' button, choose your day & time, then fill out the online Halaxy booking form with your details and the basics of what you are wanting to seek support for. Your payment details are stored securely with Halaxy, but you will not be charged until your appointment time.

Can I use a Mental Health Treatment Plan?

Unfortunately, Mental Health Treatment Plans are not accepted. I cannot offer Medicare or Private Health Insurance rebates at this time.   However, this has been taken into consideration when setting the fees. 

 

When do I pay for the session?

All fees are paid through Halaxy and will be automatically processed during your appointment time. This is why you are requested to enter your card details at the time of booking. Nothing will be taken from your account until the time of your appointment. lf you're having issues with any of the payment options, please get in touch, we're happy to work something out for you.

What can I expect from the first appointment?

Your first session can go for 90 minutes to give us time to ease in, talk through what’s brought you here, and get a feel for how we’ll work together. Just remember to select the Initial Appt - 90 minute option when booking.

Do I have to book 90 minutes for my first appointment?

There is no pressure to select a 90 minute appointment for your first, if you do not want it. It is preferable to allow for a relaxed first appointment and to ensure the standard housekeeping topics can be discussed as well, but the time allowed for your appointment is your choice. If you're not sure, get in touch and we can discuss it prior to you booking. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out. 

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes! Online sessions are available via secure video call. You’ll get a link before your appointment—just click it at your booked time. You’ll need a quiet space, good internet, and ideally a computer, but a phone or tablet can work too.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 48 hours before your appointment time. This allows us the time to offer that appointment to another person who may need it. If you cancel within this window, you can rebook at no extra charge anytime. if you cancel inside of the 48 hours, then you will be charged for the appointment. Any issues arise with rescheduling or cancelling, please contact us on 0417 797 784 to allow us to rectify the issue asap.

What if I need a refund?

If you do need to cancel or change your appointment time and you are eligible for a refund. It's no problem. I will process this manually the same day, as it works out you get your refund quicker than if we wait for the Halaxy system to do it. If you have not received your refund that day, please get in touch. It may have been overlooked accidentally.

Are our sessions confidential?

Absolutely. What we talk about stays between us, except in rare cases where I’m legally required to share information—like if someone’s safety is at risk. I’ll always explain this upfront during our initial session so there are no surprises.

Can I bring someone with me?

That depends on the session and the reason. If you’d like someone to support you, let me know in advance and we’ll talk it through.

Do you write reports or letters?

Not as part of standard sessions. If you need documentation for a specific reason, feel free to ask—we’ll discuss whether it’s appropriate and whether a fee applies.
